From there, your immersive Broadway experience will lift the curtain on a world of auditions and opening nights, huge disappointments and massive successes. Step into the footsteps of giants and listen to the stories of greats like Ethel Barrymore, Judy Garland, Humphrey Bogart, Julie Andrews, and so many more, all narrated by one of our own Broadway hopefuls.
As you explore the Theater District, your guide will share their own tale of Broadway dreams. Our top-rated pros have extensive knowledge of show business and will weave their personal experiences into the rich historical narrative. What better way to see the bright lights of Broadway than through the eyes of an artist?

"The time flew by and we couldn't have asked for a better value for the money. It was also such a treat to have someone who is in the theater business give us the inside scoop!"
|jillr142 ( New York City, New York)
"So surpassed our expectations ~ full of fun facts, hilarious delivery and personally engaged with all of us! Thank you Remy was a great tour and I can't wait to be able to say "OMG! He was our tour guide" when you win your first Tony!"
|Leanne M (England)
"I am so glad I managed to convince my boyfriend to come on this tour with me! I am a massive theatre nerd, he is more of a history buff! Luckily this tour was the perfect mixture for both of our passions, and I think we have converted him to the joys of jazz hands and high notes. Cannot give high enough praise to our guide Allie..."
|Christoffer J (No Location)
"...We had a real Broadway actor as a guide, really cool. Greg was great, he talked clearly, offered lots of interesting facts behind the different plays and theatres, he even pointed out the best way to get discounted tickets and what shows to watch."
"We set off with our guide, Linda, a New York native and actor in a snowstorm on a Saturday afternoon. She was fabulous!!! and made us forget about the dreadful weather. The group was really interested in the business of the theatre and Linda gave us all insights that only a theatre pro could have known about "

I am a HUGE theatre fan and this walking tour exceeded all my expectations. Sam our Tour Leader was very informative and fun. She answered all my questions (I had a lot!).
"I was "encouraged" to go on the Broadway Tour by my wife. Didn't expect to enjoy it, but was very good indeed. like any tour the guide Bridgid can either make or break. All I can say is Get Bridgid!!! Very bubbly personality and had time for everyone."
"Sam's forte was to include her up close and personal anecdotes that really added to the enjoyment of this experience. I would recommend this tour to anyone who loves Theater..."
|cecilyo968 (New York City, New York)
"Sam was an amazing font of knowledge which she shared so pleasantly with us all that we felt we had travelled her professional journey along with her. And she got us safely across those crazy streets!!!!"
"Having a life filled with theatre yet never being to New York, Broadway was a must... I thought I knew Broadway before I went, but I was clueless! I definitely left wanting to know more. If you love theatre, you will love this tour."
"Brigid, our guide is the "Lullaby of Broadway" She was very informed-kept us moving and entertained with great quips above Broadway. She answer everyone of our questions with patience and succinct answers See Inside Broadway Tour soon because I got a feeling we are going to see Brigid on the Great White Way before we know it!!!!"
"Happy, funny and kind she knew so many information from the inside, she is an actor herself, and gave us a true sense of what it s like to be an actor in Broadway!"
|Martin606060 (Sydney, Australia)
The Inside Broadway Tour was by far THE BEST TOUR I've EVER been on! Our tour guide Brigid Kegel was filled with enthusiasm and knowledge and provided us with interesting and funny stories and myths of Broadway. We were so engaged in the experience, we didn't even get a chance to take pictures!
|Daniel H (Rotherham, United Kingdom)
"I think that these types of tours can be tedious with the wrong type of person giving them, when they have no interest in the subject or just regurgitating facts they've remembered from a sheet. Brigid however was really enthusiastic, knowledgeable about question we in the group asked her, and she really made us all feel welcome."
|Chlorisa ( Richmond, Virginia )
So, we weren't really "feeling the vibe" about this tour as it was the night of our first Broadway show and we didn't want to fall asleep during the tour :/) well that wasn't the case at all! THIS IS THE BEST TOUR YOULL EVER GO ON! Our tour guide was Brigid! She showed us all the theaters- talked about their history- and she was comical and focused! There's only 1 thing that I don't like-- the tour ending!
|Gardenbob (Rapid City, South Dakota)
"We had the best time on Remy's tour. He had the perfect blend of humor and information. Sometimes your guides can seem too over the top or overly rehearsed - not Remy! He was polished and genuine. We learned so many great things in this tour...and it was even engaging for an active 10 year old, which is HIGH praise."
|Michael G (Michigan)
"In the Broadway area with lots of people congestion, Linda kept an eye on all of us, and also made sure at the end of the tour that we all knew how to get wherever we were headed rather than leave us to our own devices to figure out how not to get lost. Linda is a performer herself and loves broadway."
"To be honest, I’m not a huge Broadway or New York fan, but the wife is, and this vacation was for her. However, I had a great time. Greg Uliasz was extremely informed, friendly, and enthusiastic. His extensive knowledge encompassed, not just Broadway and off-Broadway theatre, but he demonstrated a broad range of general knowledge of New York City, celebrities, and New Yorkers in general."
"STUPENDOUS… This was my favorite part off my trip to ny (well this and the Lion King). My tour guide Remy was amazing. You could see the passion for theater in his face and you could hear it in his voice! "
| Carmen C (Cologne)
"Remi turned out to be the most sympathatic, entertaining, educating and funny tour guide. I guess that’s why he does the Broadway tour. And he should keep doing it!! He really is in his element there."
| Shari H (Germany)
We would highly recommend this tour to anybody. For theatre-lovers it is a must-see. And even for non-theatre-lovers the tour is amazing!
Will we be able to inside Broadway Theaters?
We may have the chance to see former theaters that have been converted. However, we will not be able to go inside the backstage areas of active theaters due to legal reasons. Don't worry, our guides practically live backstage so they can describe for you what you would expect to see, hear and feel. Just ask them!

No, this is primarily an outdoor tour that gives you a first-hand "inside" perspective of the industry. You may go inside buildings such as the Edison Hotel or New York Marriott Marquis.
Is this tour included with the New York Pass?
You can cancel a tour up to 48 hours prior to your tour date without penalty and receive a full refund. Also prior to 48 hours of your tour date, you can reschedule your tour without penalty. Since we keep the group size small, tour spots are limited.

Yes, this tour is included with your New York Pass. You'll need to make a reservation with your credit card. No charges will apply IF you show up with a valid New York Pass.
